Private Lessons: Our private training lessons are available for problems or training enrichment. Lessons are available in 30 minute sessions during the week by appointment. Snake Proofing: Snake proofing is provided in both puppy and novice classes at Acoma Training Center. Too many dogs loose their lives by curiously approaching a rattlesnake. We teach dogs to avoid snakes. This also can keep owners from accidentally stepping on a snake. Additional class snake proofing is available to Acoma clients for the remainder of their dog’s life.
Poison Proofing: Acoma Training Center provides “controlled feeding” or “poison proofing” in all puppy and novice classes. This training teaches dogs not to take food from anyone’s hand without a release word as well as it teaches dogs not to eat food off the ground . This also keeps dogs safe around food and children by not grabbing the food from the child . Keeping dogs safe from accidental or malicious poisoning is another benefit of our poison proofing service.
